Patricia Maria Smith Tenison

Patricia Maria Tenison passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2017, at Hinds Hospice Home in Fresno, California. Patty was born January 28, 1956 in Jackson, Michigan. Her family moved to Santa Clara, California when she was three and one half years old.

Patty graduated from Westmont High School in 1974 in Campbell, California. After high school Patty enlisted in the Navy stationed at Great Lakes Naval Base for two and one half years. She was very proud of her military service. She worked for Kaiser Hospital for twenty years as a appointment scheduler for the doctors, while working on her Bachelor's degree in computer programming.

Patty is survived by her loving husband, Bill Tenison, her loving sons, Greg Pelsma and Sean Pelsma; Bill's son, Ryan Tenison, wife, Amanda, granddaughters, Emma and Finley; and Bill's son, Brent Tenison; her mother, Mary I. Smith; sister, Jackie Lobach and husband, Jim and nephew, Steven Hodges and his family, sister, Judy Stanton and husband, Steve and niece, Barbara Munoz and family, sister, Peggy Smith and wife, Edna, sister, Mary Mohr and husband, Mark and nieces, Jewel Morton and family and niece, Mary Ethel Flint and family; brother, Joe Smith and wife, Carla, niece, Crystal Suarez and family, niece, Sarah Smith and husband, Owen, Kathryn Taylor and husband, Brandon; sister, Lisa Pizana and husband, Pete, niece, Rita Martinez and family, niece, Tiffany Garcia and family.

Patty was preceded in death by her loving father, Richard C. Smith, brother, Thomas R Smith, nephew, Timothy B Hodges, niece, Michelle Spencer and niece, Tonya Morton.

Visitation will be held at Sterling and Smith Chapel in Fresno, California on August 29, 2017 Tuesday, from 4 to 6 pm.

A funeral mass will be on August 30, 2017, on Wednesday 10 am at St. Paul Catholic Newman Center, 1572 East Barstow in Fresno, California.

Burial Services will be on August 31, 2017 at 11 am, at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella, California.
